Berlin for Youths

Germany is Europe’s most populous country and German is thus one of Europe’s most influential languages. This makes your German knowledge valuable in many contexts. Just outside the classroom, just practice your knowledge in reality!

Berlin has become a trendy and dynamic metropolis, which has somehow shaken off its turbulent past and moved on, more straight in the back than ever. The German capital has become a proud and popular city, in fact it has more visitors than Rome per year.

After World War II, Berlin was divided in two, but the famous wall between East and West is now demolished, and small parts have been preserved so that you never forget. The Triumphal Arch of Brandenburg Gate is a major attraction, it has become the symbol of the Cold War and the division of the city, but also of “new” Germany, a center of design, fashion, art and music, where the cultural offerings are huge.

From the Brandenburg Gate you can follow the famous souvenir shop boulevard Unter den Linden to Museumsinsel, a whole island with museums, in the middle of the river Spree, which flows through Berlin. The mighty Reichstag Building in the city is a national treasure you should also bring, and just beyond you will find the Holocaust Monument.

In the direction of Potzdamer Platz, which is located in the heart of Berlin, you can also see Hitler’s headquarters and the last piles of the war. The most important border point between east and west from when Berlin was a divided city, called Checkpoint Charlie, is today one of the city’s most famous attractions.

Berlin has a number of restaurants that tempt you for a pleasant time. In German, try a real Currywurst – a curry sausage. They are served with large portions of french fries, mayonnaise and curry ketchup.

The school is centrally located in the city and has a very varied course offer, and of course also an extensive leisure program.

Course, accommodation and activity program

You can choose from 1-4 weeks of language courses with accommodation either in host families or on the school board (shared room, full board, ie 3 meals per day).

Our accredited partner schools will offer Standard Courses with 20 lessons per week (it is possible to book Intensive courses if needed) with exciting activity programs, day trips and weekends.

There will also be evening activities for those booking the accommodation. Airport transfers are included in the price.
