Milan likes to call itself the “fashion capital of the world”, and shopping is naturally high on the list for anyone travelling to the Italian city in the north. The four well-known fashion streets that make up “The Golden Square” should give all shopping savers enough to enjoy. The absolute most exclusive street, Via Montenapoleone, is suitable for most people perhaps for window shopping.
The Opera House in the city is the world famous La Scala, and besides, the football interest is great; the city’s two major teams Inter and Milan both hold high international class, and a football match here is an experience. The Duomo, the world’s third largest church, is an impressive sight, a huge Gothic cathedral. A homemade gelato (ice cream) on a bench in the large square in front of the church is a great way to view the city’s pulse.
