Cuba is an exciting Caribbean island, with golden beaches, great scenery, dancing, singing and music, and not least a lush Latin culture and a people life that invites fiesta and friendship. The schools in Cuba organise several leisure excursions, including Varadero, Pinar del Rio and Santa Cruz.
Ernest Hemingway, the well-known author, lived for a long time in the capital Havana. Whether you’re tired of strolling around the Old Town, or enjoying the salsa music on dark velvet nights, it’s easy to follow in Hemingway’s footsteps; his favourite places and his own museum attract many curious.
The city has a thriving music scene, and many Cuban forms of music have emerged here.
